This past Monday PBS aired The Kennedy Center’s Mark Twain Awards honoring Tina Fey at 9pm. The same evening, TLC broadcasted the initial episode of Sarah Palin’s Alaska, which scored the highest ratings premiere in the channel’s history. On the very same date, November 15, NBC renewed Tina Fey’s 30 Rock for next season.
30 Rock has averaged 6.6 million viewers so far this season, and is tied for #2 among all primetime series in the number of adults (18-49 years) with incomes over $100,000 – 46 percent above average. Over 5 million viewers saw the initial episode of Sarah Palin’s Alaska. About 250,000 viewers watched The Kennedy Center’s Mark Twain Awards on local Channel 13 in the New York area.
